According to Anthony Joseph or Sky Sports News the Uruguayan could have an option to buy clause written into his season long loan.
Laxalt spent last season on loan at Torino and has yet to play any football this season with just three visits to the substitute bench this term.
Joseph provided an accurate timeline on Albian Ajeti’s transfer from Celtic which started off as a loan before developing into a permanent £5m move.
Diego Laxalt is due to arrive in London to complete a medical, before signing a season-long loan deal with Celtic.

AC Milan want a permanent transfer fee of around £9m, IF an option-to-buy clause is added onto Diego Laxalt’s loan deal with Celtic.
They paid just over £13m to Genoa in 2018.

Laxalt caught they eye playing in the 2018 World Cup but his career has stalled since moving from Genoa to AC Milan soon afterwards.
Since the sudden departure of Boli Bolingoli Greg Taylor has been the only left sided option available to Neil Lennon.
Although Laxalt is short on match fitness the 27-year-old has a wealth of experience which should be able to quickly adapt to Celtic’s demands within Scottish football.
