A month after testing positive Odsonne Edouard is back on international duty with the French u-21 side.

A day after playing for Celtic against St Johnstone the striker found himself in self-isolation, missing out on important matches for club and country.

Edouard returned to action as a substitute in Celtic’s 2-2 draw away to Lille in the Europa League but has looked short of his best.

The French u-21 side face Liechtenstein tomorrow before hosting Switzerland on Monday. With nine goals from six matches in the current European Championship group the French u-21 management will be hopeful that the Celtic striker can pick up where he signed off in September.

Celtic’s main interest will be the health of the striker, earlier today it was announced that the friendly match between Norway and Israel has been postponed effecting four of Neil Lennon’s squad.

Fifteen Celtic players are currently away on international duty with Lennon having to wait until Thursday morning before he can think about a team for the November 21 trip to face Hibs at Easter Road.
