The conversation started off by asking Neil Lennon about the failure of 2020 signings to make an impact on the Celtic side.
Defending and deflecting from them the Celtic boss decided to bring Leigh Griffiths into the discussion before he gave an answer that must put his future in doubt. How he takes the players that have let him down training and prepares them for a game at Kilmarnock on Wednesday is anyone’s guess.

Radio Scotland: Do you feel let down by some of the players?
NL: Honest answer? Yes.
Today’s defeat from St Mirren was Celtic’s sixth at home this season. In six matches so far this year they have recorded just one win, at home to bottom of the table Hamilton Accies.
Celtic did manage an eight-match winning after losing to Ferencvaros in a Champions League qualifier but when the wheels came off, they did spectacularly.
With seven wins in their last 23 matches this season is on course to be Celtic’s worst of the 21st century, after his post match comments it is difficult but not impossible to see Lennon continuing as manager.
