The Celtic Rumour Mill is in a frenzy as speculation continues about the training trip to Dubai.
Despite a week long message stressing the hard work that everyone was putting in the inevitable happened on Sunday afternoon.
With one tweet, no club statement or announcement, the stupidity of going ahead with the Dubai trip came home to roost with one positive test confirmed.
Many rumours coming out this morning, none of them good.
Needless to say we’re no hearing any along the lines of – “It’s all fine.” ?
More like – “X number of players identified now as having to isolate.”
Ranging from 11 to 15.

We’ve been doing this podcast a long time now.
People pass things on.
If we start hearing enough of the same sort of thing, we’ll tweet it out as a rumour.
Far from gospel.

Across Social Media it doesn’t take much work to create momentum, various names have been put forward without any real basis with all eyes on further comment coming out of the club.
A few hours after the Celtic tweet the Scottish Government added Dubai to the list of countries that require self-isolation when arriving in Scotland. Bizarrely the date from the Scottish Government has been backdated to January 3.
Initially it was reported that the ‘elite athlete’ exemption still applied but this morning that was denied with a decision still to be taken.
Further news from the Scottish Government is expected at lunchtime, if tonight’s match with Hibs goes ahead all eyes will be on the names missing from the team-sheet.
