John Paul Taylor, Celtic’s Supporter Liaison Officer is expecting the club to complete their managerial review in the next week or so.

Following supporter protests after the home matches against Ross County and St Johnstone the club issued a statement on December 7 giving Neil Lennon their full support. There was a get out however with mention of a managerial review in the new year.

Soon after the statement Celtic went on a mini revival but even while winning the Scottish Cup against Hearts the flaws in the team were obvious with a defence looking like losing a goal from every set-piece.

Four matches into 2021 Celtic are still looking for their first win of the year, matching the run under Kenny Dalglish in 2000 for matches without a league win.

At the virtual AGM Peter Lawwell boasted of spending £35m against a claim that the club had been sleeping at the wheel.

Three weeks into 2021 the hierarchy looks to be in a deep, deep slumber with many fans hoping that the CEO will follow the manager out the building when the review is completed.
