Jeremie Frimpong has posted an emotional farewell video message thanking Celtic supporters.
A week ago he made what was to be his farewell appearance in the snow as a substitute in the snow of Livingston, on Wednesday he finalised a move to Bayer Leverkusen that will cost the German club around £11m.
At the start of September 2019 Frimpong arrived at Celtic from Manchester City without having played a senior match in his career.
Straight away his performances in training made an impact, by the end of the month he had made his top team debut, by Christmas time he was a fan favourite with a League Cup winners medal, catch phrase and T-shirts in his honour.
wanna thank my teammates for their help, the Gaffer for his trust and all the @celticfc fans for their love!
I will forever be grateful to Celtic and I wish you all the best in the future!

Like everyone else there has been a dip in form this season, perhaps the brutal attacks from players like Alan Power, Devante Cole and Alfredo Morelos had dulled some of his enthusiasm as he played in empty stadiums in a side struggling badly.
Only five other players have earned Celtic transfer fees of over £10m plus, at the age of 20 Frimpong is in good company with Kieran Tierney, Moussa Dembele, Virgil van Dijk, Fraser Forster and Victor Wanyama.
