In the course of a couple of hours Rafa Benitez has come in from nowhere to become the 1/5 favourite to become the next permanent Celtic manager.
At lunchtime today word came from China that the former Liverpool and Newcastle boss had left Chinese side Dalian Professional by mutual consent with a year remaining on his contract.
That was enough to tempt some punters into backing Benitez for the Celtic job, possibly many of the fans that had been betting on Eddie Howe which forced a few firms to close the book on the former Bournemouth boss.

There has been no solid indication from inside Celtic that there will be a change of manager although a comment is overdue on the new year managerial review.
Bookies are careful to insert Permanent in the odds, Video Celts believes that a change could be made next week with John Kennedy and Stephen McManus appointed as caretakers.
Howe is also being strongly linked with the Newcastle job with Steve Bruce under pressure after taking over from Benitez in the summer of 2019.
