Nicola Sturgeon is disappointed and frustrated by Celtic’s decision to travel to Dubai, questioning that the trip was essential.
The First Minister was speaking at her daily media conference shortly after it was announced that Chris Jullien had tested positive with 15 players and coaches forced to self isolate.
Why Jullien was on the trip, departing less than a week after he suffered knee ligament damage that will put him out of action for three to four months.
Nicola Sturgeon says she hopes Celtic will “reflect seriously” on the issue.

The First Minister stopped short of imposing any penalty on Celtic but did say that she expected the club to reflect seriously on the decision to go ahead with the trip.
Gavin Strachan will now be in charge for tonight’s match with the squad decimated for three vital matches against Hibs and Livingston at home and an away day at Livingston next week.
The identity of the 13 players self-isolating hasn’t been made public.
