At yesterday’s media conference from the Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon spoke in some detail about Celtic’s trip to Dubai.

Not known as being a football fan it can only be assumed that the pictures were fed her way by a Government official or researcher. Spending time to criticise Celtic was certain to catch some headlines on the day that Scotland moved in to Lockdown II with schools across the country closed.

With Sturgeon spending time looking at pictures of Celtic players it has to be assumed that every schoolchild in the country has access to a tablet or laptop with Wi Fi in their home. Or do they?

Ironically Scotland’s penalty shoot-out win over Serbia was on November 12, the date that Celtic got their Dubai trip approved.

Ever the opportunist, like politicians of every party Sturgeon was happy to join in the congratulations for Scotland winning a penalty shoot-out over Serbia in November.

The pictures above shows that Social Distancing was abandoned outwith the Scotland dressing room. From the scenes as the players from a dozen different clubs danced around it seems very likely that alcohol was involved.

After their party in Belgrade the SFA moved on to defeats in Slovakia and Israel. At the same time as that trip David Turnbull was in Greece with the SFA, on return to Celtic he tested positive.

While the SFA are giving answers on the Celtic trip to Dubai they can perhaps explain why protocols were ignored in Serbia.
