Celtic’s Car Crash Communications continued last night as they decided to share an interview with Neil Lennon after last night’s draw at Livingston.
Whoever edited and uploaded the clip thought that an opening shot of the manager messing about with his teeth was something that the fans would appreciate.
From there it was all downhill as the usual mix of deflection and denial were shared with in-depth questions about the snow on the pitch and the positives to be taken from the fourth SPFL match of 2021 without a win being recorded.
Monday’s explosive media conference and the defence of Dubai was given a wide-berth by Celtic media but a far tamer, more predictable serving from the Toni Macaroni Arena was suitable for sharing with fans.
It could have been from almost any match in the last few months as the same old defensive failings were lamented with no thoughts on how to remedy the issue.
Celtic now have a week off before facing Hamilton. If the club choses to fall silent ignoring the managerial review promised on December 7 in a club statement the focus will intensify on Lennon and the board who seem satisfied by the results served up this season.
