There wasn’t much sign of Love in the Air this morning as Celtic released a Valentines Day message on Twitter.

Taking a break from wishing a variety of players and managers a Happy Birthday the club’s Social Media team tried to share some love but found no appetite among their Twitter followers.

On December 7 supporters were promised a managerial review but more than two months later the outcome remains a closely guarded secret with the prospects of winning a 10th successive title up in smoke.

Since October Celtic’s seasons has been falling apart although some fans would suggest that the Champions League defeat from Ferencvaros in August was the warning that the board failed to take action on.

By the end of November Celtic were out of three cup competitions, by the end of January the gap at the top of the SPFL table was over 20 points with the board failing to take any action.

Peter Lawwell has announced that he will resign at the end of June but on the park the team is in limbo as they try to make the gap at the top of the table respectable.
