Boli Bolingoli appears to be stepping up his rehab after his season long loan to Basaksehir FK was cut short by injury.
Early in the new year the 25-year-old under went knee surgery but is now believed to be back in Belgium on his rehab programme.
The very mention of his name will send a shudder down the spine of many Celtic fans after his day-trip to Spain sent the current season into a tailspin with the club criticised by the First Minister.
Celtic were able to quickly ship Bolingoli out on loan to Basaksehir where he played in the Champions League including a victory over Manchester United.
After 13 games however injury brought his season to an end leaving Celtic with a problem to solve with the former Rapid Vienna man under contract until 2023.
A playing return to Celtic would appear unlikely but everything will be on the back burner until the summer transfer window opens up.
