The club from Ibrox turned to Twitter to express their fury as the SFA applied some consistency to disciplinary matters when they threw out of Kemar Roofe’s appeal against a two match suspension for his lunge at Murray Davidson.
While accepting a two match ban for Alfredo Morelos, Steven Gerrard called for consistency from the SFA. The gallant cheer leaders all carried the message without thinking or asking about the same player getting away with red card offenses twice within two months.
Referee David Munro certainly took up the call for consistency. Against St Johnstone he watched the Roofe attack on Davidson, issued a yellow card with the Ibrox men, with a full compliment of players go on to win 1-0.

There seems to be real confusion within the game regarding which incidents are cited and those that are not. This confusion solidifies our viewpoint regarding the current system.

Two days after the match the SFA upgraded Roofe’s yellow card to red, an appeal went in allowing the former Anderlecht star to play in the 1-1 draw with Hamilton.
Roofe and Morelos will now miss Saturday’s match at home to Kilmarnock where Don Robertson will be responsible for ensuring consistency.
