Dane Murray has signed a contract extension keeping him at Celtic until 2024.
Details on the 17-year-old are very scarce with the announcement fairly vague since he was already contracted with Celtic until December 2022.
Signing two professional contracts before the age od 18 suggests that Murray’s development has been noted by other clubs with Celtic keen to stem the flow of their brightest young prospects out of the club.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have recently signed players from Celtic who hadn’t even played a reserve match for the club.

There are still no signs of what football will look like next season but the recent loan moves of Ewan Otoo to Clyde and Luca Connell to Queens Park suggests that the club is looking seriously at players getting competitive experience.
At the moment there is no mention of Murray on the Celtic website with just seven reserve players listed with 10 out on loan.
