Humza Yousaf has sent out an incredible Tweet virtually pleading for law compliance to allow the Glasgow Derby to go ahead next Sunday.

The Justice Secretary really should be above using a Social Media platform to ensure that the law of the land is enforced.

Scotland remains in Lockdown. Four people can from today meet up outside but not thousands to celebrate a football result in the middle of a global pandemic that has killed more than 120,000 people across the UK in the last 12 months. That is the equivalent of Celtic Park filled twice over. Dead. With thousands more suffering long term after effects.

Last weekend at Ibrox and George Square thousands of people ignored the law to congregate on successive days. Those scenes sparked a furious backlash across Scotland but with just 28 arrests made it is very obvious that thousands of law breakers have escaped punishment.

Next Sunday Celtic Park is scheduled to host the Glasgow Derby, anyone with a basic knowledge of the city knows the potential for trouble following celebrations last weekend.

The Scottish Government, football clubs and authorities plus Police Scotland have some tough discussions to hold this weekend trying to judge the mood of others and the extent of the security operation needed if a game of football is to be played.
