The Celtic Store in Argyle Street Glasgow was vandalised last night as thousands descended on George Square for an illegal gathering.
After the events of Saturday further ‘celebrations’ were expected with the focus switching from Ibrox to George Square.
Police Scotland were well aware of the intentions but appeared helpless to prevent fans from gathering, drinking alcohol in public and breaking the law on Social Gathering.
@CelticFC Any comments on the damage to our Store in Argyle street? or are you going to do what you always do and sit in silence !! pic.twitter.com/n9PveJKsxP

The windows of the Celtic Store also fell victim which was as predictable as the carnage in the city centre. Sandra White, the MSP whose constituency covers the city centre was certainly concerned by events as she was inundated by locals placed under house arrest.
Among the many answers required are why were fans escorted by Police Scotland into the city centre when they should have been dispersed or arrested.
Social Media selfies should help identify many of the offenders as a trawl through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram will uncover mountains of evidence.
This tweet has now been deleted by @GreaterGlasgPol . It was posted earlier this afternoon at approx. 15:20. (Although it might even have been 14:20 as I’m an hour ahead here). It shows they clearly knew what to expect, yet failed to issue even a strongly worded warning pic.twitter.com/G4illx66JU
