Slavia Prague have confirmed the status of their criminal complaint regarding the after-match incidents at Ibrox on Thursday night.

After dumping Steven Gerrard’s side out of the Europa League with a 2-0 win things became hostile with the Czech side locked out of their own dressing room.

UEFA have launched their own investigation into the events at Ibrox but separate to that Slavia have filed a criminal complaint over an alleged assault on Ondrej Kudela.

Slavia stated:

Due to repeated ambiguities, Slavia clarifies the information regarding the criminal report filed with the Police in Glasgow. The notification was provided to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and also directly to the address provided by the embassy as a contact to investigate the whole event.

The announcement was sent on Friday, March 19, 2021 after the team returned to the Czech Republic. We provided it to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and also to the Scottish Police address provided directly by the Embassy as a contact to investigate the whole incident.

The General Secretary of SK Slavia Prague, Martin Ríha, is already in direct contact with members of the local police, who are in charge of football clubs in Scotland from the point of view of the police.

The club is currently recording the statements of players and members of the implementation team in cooperation with the law firm and the notary, and in the following working days will supplement the entire criminal report with other relevant facts also in cooperation with the hired Scottish law firm. We are interested in a thorough investigation of the case and justice.

Slavia now face Arsenal for a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League.
