The flag of Palestine will be on display across the Standing Section of Celtic Park as trouble in the Middle East again becomes world news.
So far this season Celtic Park has been about the only stadium in the UK without any fan displays with other clubs keen to do everything possible to engage with their supporters, or customers as some prefer.
With Scott Brown signing off tonight Celtic invited fans to bring banners to the club’s match against St Johnstone with the Green Brigade opting to bring the distinctive green, black, white and red flags of Palestine as a mark of solidarity.

In 2016 Celtic were fined by UEFA for fans bringing Palestine flags to a Champions League qualifier against Hapoel Beer Sheva.
News of the fine made the news worldwide with an appeal raising almost £200,000 which was distributed to good causes in Palestine.
