Police Scotland are this morning reviewing CCTV footage from Livingston to identify 200 Covidiots.

Once again the Law of the Land was pushed aside for one group in society as they ignored Social Distancing and let off fireworks. Predictably the Covidiots were acknowledged and applauded by Steven Gerrard’s players after the match.

STV reports:

Police have condemned the behaviour of Rangers fans who set off pyrotechnics during Wednesday night’s match at Livingston. An investigation has been launched after a group of 200 fans gathered to watch Steven Gerrard’s team from a hill just outside the ground in West Lothian.

Sergeant Jim Gowling said: “An investigation is under way after several pyrotechnics were let off during the Livingston v Rangers game.  The inquiry will involve officers reviewing extensive CCTV footage to identify those involved in this reckless and dangerous behaviour.”

After the match Steven Gerrard urged the authorities to have a heart ahead of expected mass gathering at Ibrox on Saturday.

Two months ago the Ibrox boss was screaming encouragement out of the dressing room window at fans gathered illegally outside of Ibrox. No action was taken by Police Scotland, the SFA or the SPFL.
