Blackpool are the latest club to be linked with an interest in Olivier Ntcham.

The midfielder has a year left on his Celtic contract but it seems fairly clear that the hoops won’t be difficult to deal with if they can get the Frenchman off the pay-roll.

There have been reports that AEK Athens have agreed personal terms over a move with the Greek side likely to be due money from Celtic for the transfer last summer of Vasilis Barkas.

Ntcham spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille but rather than put himself in the shop window for a return to France it appears that failing four appearances totalling 120 minutes in Ligue 1 has closed doors on the French u-21 internationalist.

Turkish website Fotomac reports:

Sivasspor , who finished 5th in the Super League with 19 matches undefeated and is preparing to take the stage in the UEFA Conference League , continues its work on the transfer. Yi?ido are Scotland at Celtic shirt wearing midfielder Olivier Ntcham began to contact to add staff. It has been learned that the red-and-white administration, which is trying to finish the transfer of the 25-year-old Cameroonian-born French football player, who has a contract with Celtic for 1 more year, has covered a significant distance in negotiations with the club, which demands 1 million euros.

AEK AND BLACKPOOL ARE GOING TO CHALLENGE Sivasspor, which wants to add
Ntcham to its staff, also has serious rivals from Greece and England . Greek team AEK and Blackpool , who have risen to the British Championship this season, are also competing with the red-whites for the transfer of Ntcham. The young midfielder played a total of 29 games in Celtic and the French giant Marseille , where he went on loan last season , contributing 1 goal and 2 assists. Ntcham also appeared in all lower age categories except France’s National Team .

Blackpool won promotion to the Championship through the Play Off, Ntcham’s ability isn’t in doubt but his attitude at Celtic was questioned by fans. It is unlikely that a 46-fixture programme taking in Barnsley, Hull, Bristol City and Peterborough would reignite his appetite and ambitions.
