Callum McGregor is the only Celtic player starting for Scotland against Croatia tonight in a must-win European Championship tie.

Steve Clarke has been forced into one change with Stuart Armstrong replacing Billy Gilmour with the Southampton man joining up with John McGinn and McGregor in the centre of the park.

Scotland’s point against England at Wembley on Friday night gives them the chance to progress to the last 16 with a win but Croatia have the exact same scenario. A draw would knock both teams out.

Ryan Christie started the opening match against the Czech Republic but have to settle for places on the bench alongside James Forrest and David Turnbull. Former Celts David Marshall, Stephen O’Donnell and Kieran Tierney are in from the start.

England and the Czech Republic play at Wembley at the same time with the Czech’s top of the group on goal difference.

SCOTLAND: Marshall; McTominay, Hanley, Tierney; O’Donnell, McGinn, McGregor, Armstrong, Robertson; Adams, Dykes

SUBS: Gordon, McLaughlin, Christie, Turnbull, Forrest, Fleck, Gallagher, Cooper, Nisbet, Patterson, Fraser, McKenna
