Leigh Griffiths stormed from the dug-out after being overlooked as a substitute in the win over Hearts according to one Twitter user.
It is difficult to verify how accurate the claim is but there doesn’t appear to be much sympathy out there among Celtic fans on Twitter.
Ange Postecoglou waited until the 75th minute to make his first substitutions when James McCarthy and Adam Montgomery replaced Tom Rogic and Kyogo Furuhashi.
With two minutes left to play Albian Ajeti and Ismaila Soro came on for Odsonne Edouard and David Turnbull at which point it is claimed that Griffiths made a sharp exit.
In the Europa League and Premier Sports Cup teams are allowed to make five substitutions, in the SPFL only three are permitted.
Today was the first time that Griffiths has been on the bench for a competitive match, in his only appearance of the season, as a substitute against West Ham he was booed by a sizeable number of Celtic fans.

Not sure if caught on TV. But as Ajeti and Soro step up from the dugout to the fourth official, Griffiths walks along the back of the dugout but still in the stand and straight down the tunnel.

Keep running. Pap him out on loan with option to buy. I’m sure Hibs or some club in championship will take him. Had too many chances at celtic.
