Josip Juranovic is in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for today’s match at Ibrox.

Ten days ago the Croatian was signing off for Legia Warsaw with a wonder goal against Slavia Prague before flying to Glasgow to complete his transfer to Celtic.

After a week at his new club Juranovic looks certain to be in the match-day squad for Ibrox with Postecoglou hinting to The Sun that there could be a playing role:

We’ll assess that. Josip definitely, but Liam’s (Scales) probably unlikely. Josip comes into the calculations.

He has trained well with the team and his last game was seven days ago, so he is in great condition and is an experienced guy.

Greg Taylor is reported to have shrugged aside the shoulder injury that forced him out of the Alkmaar.

Adam Montgomery proved to be a very adequate replacement but with Juaranovic able to play in either full-back position he could come in to Postecoglou’s thoughts if there are any doubts over Taylor.

James Forrest and James McCarthy both missed the trip to Alkmaar but seem to be in contention for today’s match.

Kevin Clancy will referee today’s game.
