The Sports Desk Editor of The Guardian has claimed that Odsonne Edouard is the preferred choice of striker for Patrick Vieira.
With less than a year to go on his contract Celtic will be anxious to get a transfer completed tomorrow but any move will ultimately be down to the player.
Vieira took over at Palace during the summer, with a heavy French influence in the coaching staff a move to the Londoners could be attractive to Edouard.

Edouard turned in another miserable performance at Ibrox yesterday, substituted as soon as Filip Helander scored in what could be his final Celtic appearance.
Rubin Kazan, Everton and Bordeaux have all been linked with the 23-year-old but with just over 24 hours left in the transfer window there is no certainty that a move will be completed.
It is likely that any future incoming Celtic transfers are dependent on Edouard moving in the opposite direction.
