Celtic are reported to be in transfer talks with Georgios Giakoumakis.
There has been a succession of updates over the last week involving the VVV Venlo striker, Celtic and Werder Bremen. During which Giakoumakis has missed three league matches for the club he is contracted to.
Ange Postecoglou is reported to have made personal contract with the former AEK Athens striker who was top scorer in the Eredivisie with 26 goals in 30 matches.

After a run of the mill career Giakoumakis moved from AEK to Venlo for £300,000 but with a year left on his contract and Venlo relegated it seems logical for all parties to cash in with a fee in the region of £3m being quoted.
Celtic have started the season with no problems around goal but while Kyogo Furuhashi is new to the club there are doubts and question marks over the futures of Odsonne Edouard, Albian Ajeti and Leigh Griffiths.
