According to Murdo Fraser the SNP has a ‘Rangers’ problem and show naked hostility to the club founded in 2012 by Charles Green and Mike Ashley.
That will be the SNP Government that provided a £3.2m interest free loan to the club earlier this year while they were going around ‘investors’ looking for funds to pay off existing loans. The Government money has been invested in adding Fashion Sakala, John Lundstram and Nnamdi Ofoborh to the wage bill.
Fraser, who picks up a salary through the back-door Proportional Representation system at Holyrood, takes straight from the No One Likes Us We Don’t Care songbook in his article which appeared in the fast disappearing The Scotsman before being picked up by publishers that people read from.
The list MSP barely touches on the scenes in George Square earlier this year. In March and May thousands of Ibrox fans trashed Glasgow City Centre causing thousands of pounds worth of damage and bringing businesses to a halt.
No apology came from the club, chairman Douglas Park suggested that benches and statues should have been moved to assist the illegal gatherings.
As he presents his sugar-coated views of things Fraser decides not to mention that twice in 2019 UEFA closed parts of Ibrox due to racist chants from supporters. An action that the SFA and SPFL has never gone near.
As many decent folk across the country know the people that Fraser backs, supports and defends are indeed Scotland’s Shame.
In 2012 a total of 276 creditors including Her Majesty were left out of pocket, owed millions by the old Rangers club.
Pretty sure most decent people have a ‘Rangers problem’ tbh

These anti-Catholic/anti-Irish sentiments have been responsible for the club having sections of Ibrox closed by UEFA for European games twice – twice! – inside the past two years.

Rangers have a Scotland problem surely

Rangers as victims is rich. Arguably no other organization has done as much to perpetuate division in Scotland; ‘No Catholic’ policy, orange marches, sectarian chants. And with the unionist stance, it’s no surprise Scot govt, who stand on independence ticket, are not big fans.

During lockdown the @NicolaSturgeon
allowed Rangers to march through Glasgow x twice, nobody else got that privilege
They rewarded her by trashing George Square twice & behaved abominably, total embarrassment.
No fines or rebuke, i’d say they got off too lightly.#Shameless— Kitty Cybernat (@CathyMcRorie) August 4, 2021
But the SNP hated Rangers that much they gave them £3.2 million pounds

Why are you referring to yourself in the 3rd person?

I object to taxpayers money being spent on your wage for you to create more division and hatered than there already is. Never mind championing your favourite football team. This should never mix.
Bad behaviour on both sides should be condemned. What an embarrassment ???

Queen’s Eleven time again? Must be getting a bit nervous about never winning a constituency or the Scottish Elections. Best get the subway loyal on board.

Absolute claptrap, season begins let’s stir up the Neanderthals with their anti Scotgov, SNP bad tripe. The Scotgov refused to fill their begging bowl in 2012 to keep the original rangers in business to show impartiality however, this is taken for pro Aberdeen? Celtic? Kilmarnock
