Charlie Mulgrew has taken to Twitter after a day of speculation about an audio clip circulating on WhatsApp.
The two minute clip gave fairly detailed information about Dom McKay’s exit from Celtic and the club’s business during the transfer window.
Personal reasons were given for Friday’s decision but in the modern age that just fires the starting gun for speculation about what went on behind the scenes.

McKay was CEO for 72 days during which he generated a healthy transfer surplus and brought in 12 new players.
On the pitch Celtic made their customary exit from the Champions League followed by a flurry of new signings that took them through to the group stage of the Champions League.
Celtic’s statement on Friday gave little away about McKay but did shower acting CEO Michael Nicholson with praise including the claim that he is ‘an absolute team player’.
