Celtic will have to wait for news on the injury that Tom Rogic suffered away to Hibs last night.

The midfielder was in majestic form for 44 minutes as he orchestrated the waves of attack that swarmed around the Hibs goal.

It was all too much for Alex Gogic who committed three bookable fouls on Rogic before he was shown a yellow card by Don Robertson. Jack Ross opted to substitute Gogic at half-time but a minute from the break Ange Postecoglou had no option but to take off his fellow Aussie and send on Nir Bitton.

There was one image of Rogic getting treatment on his leg that didn’t look quite right but last night Postecoglou was unable to get a full assessment of the injury.

The Celtic boss told The Sun:

Tom did feel something in his hamstring. It’s wait and see. We’ll just assess it.  He was outstanding in the first half. His ability to find space is second to none.

We had three quick boys up front, technically good, and he was key to getting the best out of them. He’s played a lot for us but hopefully he’s OK.

Celtic are at home to Livingston on Saturday before travelling to face Ferencvaros on Thursday. Postecoglou doesn’t really have a like for like replacement for Rogic.
