Not content with going to Saturday’s Glasgow Derby, Guillem Balague is looking for some live music on Saturday night!

If all goes well in the 12.30 kick off the legendary Spanish football expert shouldn’t go short of options to unwind after he has completed his media duties.

Over the last decade the Irish music scene has arrived big time in the city to deliver a fresh cultural edge with more and more pubs putting on live entertainment at night.

Traditionally it was confined to a few venues along the Gallowgate coming to a halt with The Tolbooth on Glasgow Cross with McCuhill’s up the road on High Street.

There were a few places like Molly Malones on Hope Street but after the opening of Grace’s on Candleriggs the Merchant City has been turning Green and White with others such as Gallaghers on Howard Street reaching in towards the city centre.

The tone on Saturday night will be set by the lunchtime result but one recommendation for Bar 67 should be treated with a pinch of salt, allegedly they offer ‘Wine, beer and song, Tapas available, well it’ll be pakora or kebabs’.

It would be nice if someone corrected him and his “Old Firm” error.
This needs to be shouted out at every possible time until the world knows what REALLY happened in 2012.
