With five weeks and 10 matches to go until the transfer market re-opens Celtic have been linked with Patrick Berg and Kasper Junker.
Almost all areas of the Celtic squad are in need of strengthening with the limitations exposed in September when Callum McGregor and Kyogo Furuhashi were out injured.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have very firm ideas about who he wants to bring in with the J-League, where Junker plays, expected to be a market popular with the Celtic boss.

Berg (24) is a central/defensive midfielder at Bodo Glimt and under contract with the Norwegian side until the end of 2022 with the Norwegian season running from March to November.
After their exploits in the Europa Conference, with Berg scoring in the 6-1 win over Roma the January window looks like the time to sell at maximum value

Danish striker Junker (27) left Bodo Glimt during the summer for J-League side Urawa Reds, just as Postecoglou was moving in the other direction, since his mid-season move he has scored nine goals in 20 appearances.
Like Berg, Junker is under contract until December 2022.
