Incidents around a football club can often be described as a car crash.
Not literally but it paints a certain picture, last season at Celtic was one long car crash, if something could go wrong it did with Neil Lennon, Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond all accused by fans of being Asleep at the Wheel.
Vasilis Barkas was a car crash of a signing, the Europa League campaign was similarly described as was the half-hearted defence of the SPFL Premiership title. If something could go wrong it did.
On Monday night news came through of a genuine car crash, there appears to be no physical casualties although one fledgling media career looks to be in grave jeopardy.
Against Ross County on Saturday Adam was substituted after 13 minutes with a strain, his team went on to lose 3-2 allowing the Highlanders to close in to just two points behind.
With another match coming up on Tuesday night away to Hibs the Dundee skipper was making the wrong headlines at 4.25am on Monday.
Football fans have a hard line in dry humour, sympathy for the captain of Dundee seems to be in very short supply.
Tonight sees @HibernianFC host @DundeeFC in the cinch Premiership.
