Ange Postecoglou has no time frame in mind for the return of Chris Jullien to first team action.

The defender suffered a serious knee injury in the final match of 2020 and has yet to play any football in 2020.

On October 15 Celtic tweeted a picture of Jullien back training on grass but with no matches to play in his return is still uncertain.

Jullien had an impressive debut season, scoring the winning goal in the 2019 League Cup Final and also against Lazio in a memorable Europa League tie.

The last time that Jullien was involved at Celtic he was playing alongside Kris Ajer, Shane Duffy and Diego Laxalt who have all moved on.

As well as getting match fit Jullien will need to adapt to new team-mates and systems with Postecoglou comments suggesting that the January break might be the most likely time to introduce him into the new manager’s plans.
