Mikey Johnston was spotted in training today as Celtic prepared for Sunday’s League Cup Final against Hibs.
The winger has been in and out of the side in recent games, coming off the bench to replace James Forrest in the 17th minute against Motherwell last Sunday then being substituted by Tony Ralston in the 78th minute.
Ange Postecoglou explained those decisions by revealing that Johnston didn’t have 90 minutes in him.
Adam Montgomery then Owen Moffat played on the left against Ross County in midweek but a fully fit Johnston will almost certainly be in Sunday’s matchday squad with the big decision over whether he is fit enough to play from the start.
Five substitutes can be used in the League Cup with the fitness of Kyogo Furuhashi and James Forrest likely to be decided on the day.
John Beaton will referee Sunday’s match with David Gray in charge of Hibs, probably for the last time.
John loyalist beaton will try his best to make sure celtic go down to 10 men why do sevco supporters officials get the team they were brought up to hate because one day its gonnae cause a riot i bet its on the cards dirty cheats every official in the spfl..RATS THE SCUMBAGS
