Tony Ralston saved the day for Celtic with a 96th minute header to overcome the defiance of Ross County and referee Alan Muir to claim three points in Dingwall tonight.
Liel Abada’s first half opener was cancelled out by a goal from Jack Baldwin in the 57th with Celtic’s hopes taking a turn for the worst in the 79th minute when Carl Starfelt was given two yellow cards.
A few minutes earlier the Swede had been left with a bloodied nose from the elbow of Jordan White that Muir failed to notice. Fortunately the stoppage time was put to good use as the 10 men pushed for a winner.
In the 95th minute Muir refused to give Celtic a penalty when a Callum McGregor shot was blocked by an elbow with just a corner awarded.
County failed to clear the corner, substitute Tom Rogic hung a cross to the back post with Ralston getting above two defenders to power home a header that was wildly celebrated by the visiting fans.

The twats put a 1-1 scoreline on their site and how Celtic dropped points.
And they couldn’t even add up. Had us five point behind when it would have been six with a draw. Amateurs.
Super CELTIC>
The 2 Starfelt yellows a disgrace… The not given penalty ?????? so obvious an elbow… Still hard fought justice done … And AR what a player … Excellent this season … Good on the big man … Great bloke too … I fear the refs will do us this season though
It’s never over till it’s over
Well what do you know 3 points in the bag but my blood pressure a dangerous high well done celtic but please put all these chances away you create phew!!.
The elbow was for me, a hard 1, as he didn’t pull it back to hit starfelt, so on fence with that 1. Starfelt got done, he has massively improved, but he shouldn’t have let that player get bye him like that. Cracking winner, Ralston has been outstanding this season, as has tommy rogic. Need our players back, and few these Japanese players in January, as trust big Ange, his eye for a player has been really good so far. Need to keep winning, as can’t see anybody beating the ibrox mob, they look strong under van bronckhorst. Anyways let’s hope it’s a beautifull Sunday , because winning trophies, is what will kick the bhoys on, and they will want more of it ?????
When Tony Ralston played against Neymar I always said give the boy a chance and he will come good
I am delighted for him and well done Tony
Still the celtic board are missing.
Why are scottish refs so bad, it’s time the SFA got control of this amatuerish bunch of poor football officials. VAR IS DEFINITELY NEEDED for next season to show how much is missed by on field refs.
