A fortnight ago Neilson had reasons to grumble when he discovered that John Souttar had signed a pre-contract deal to play at Ibrox next season.Â
Bids are anticipated on Monday to bring the move forward with the Hearts boss joking about the goals lost by Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side this afternoon.Â
Asked about speculation over a fresh bid coming in for Souttar the Hearts boss told the Daily Record:Â
There’s been nothing new with John. Although I saw they lost three goals today so I might get a phone call! But at this moment in time there’s been nothing. He’s fine. He’s left here and he’ll be back in tomorrow. And I expect he’ll be available for Tuesday if he’s still here.Â
Souttar was substituted at half-time in today’s win over Motherwell, suffering from a knock.Â
