Allan McGregor was competing with Giovanni van Bronckhorst as the fall guy for the latest lost points at Ibrox.Â
The Leg End keeper is running out of goodwill if social media is any sort of guide- although he does have the backing of many Celtic fans.Â
Turning 40 at the end of last month it seems that the years of hard living are catching up on the keeper as goals lost to Hearts, Ross County and Motherwell demonstrate. This month’s Glasgow derby wasn’t too clever either.Â

Firing balls low into the six yard box seems certain to cause panic for Greegsy who has never been keen to come off his line to cut out crosses.Â
Shoot high and there is a good chance of a showy save for the cameras but other than that he is looking more and more vulnerable.Â
Can Bronckhorst has axed Steve Davo Davis since taking over from Steven Gerrard, now it remains to be seen whether he will ditch the 40-year-old who’ll be out of contract at the end of the season.Â
