Rangers Tax Case has credited Tom English with acknowledging that the real story of Rangers going into liquidation is out there.
On duty with BBC Scotland everything is happy and glorious with English and the lads as they bounce along from one O** F*** yarn to another in the time honoured fashioned.
That time line ended in June 2012 when a CVA was refused leaving 276 trade creditors out of pocket and the football authorities rewriting the rules to fast track a new club into the lower tier of the Scottish Football League.
There was no demotion, no relegation, no financial meltdown. The club and company were one and the same, no engine house subsidiary existed. The club formed in 1872 or 1873 died because no one would pick up the tab, pay the bill for ill-gotten gains under Dave Murray and for less than a year by Craig Whyte.
But to be fair to Tom English, I am pleased to see someone in the press acknowledge that there is another side to the story.

What I would say is that Rangers left an awful lot of debt behind and that debt, some of it, much of it, I don’t know how much hasn’t been paid, em, so I think they will never do it.
It’s like they want their cake and eat it, you know what I mean? Yes we are Rangers, we have 55 titles but the Rangers that ran up all the debt and torched some of that debt, that’s not us.
You know, I can understand when people say you know it is a new club (rolls eyes) and all the rest of it. I, I, I, I, I, I looks at Rangers and I see the same supporters, same beliefs (rolls eyes). Em, same club but they cannot wash their hands of what happened before.
I know that it was bad people that took over that club. I know that none of the Rangers people now want, or fans want any of those people in that club- once they’d figured out what sort of people they were- but that is part of it.
That is part of it, if you want to say that you have 55 titles, that is part of their history and some of that stuff is still to be mopped up.
You know I don’t know how much debt remains from all of that but I think that is troubling, all of that is troubling.
On one hand they say ‘we have our history’ and I’m perfectly cool with that, absolutely cool with that but you also have all this stuff, what are you going to do about that? All those businesses that didn’t get paid.
It is highly unlikely that English, Kenny Mac and Alasdair Lamont will go anywhere near the 10th anniversary of administration in their weekend shows on Radio Scotland.
Yet the Scottish press censors any mention of all of this.
People noting the injustice of using insolvency (and SPFL side-letters) to lessen the consequences of decades of cheating are cast as eccentrics.

At the time of administration English was cheerleading for Craig Whyte in The Scotsman, long after the Daily Record had levelled up on the former billionaire.

Typically, it is this inability to accept responsibility that infects this inherently evil and toxic institution and its fans, as well as the previous Evelyn and toxic incarnation, the governing bodies and in some cases, the MSM and the police involved in the liquidation process.
