Celtic fans are looking for their club to speak up about the Glasgow Derby ticket agenda that is being set from Ibrox.
Two weeks ago Celtic Park was full of home fans as they combined with Ange Postecoglou’s side to provide one of the finest experiences that many fans have known.
Without a corner of the ground handed over to opponents, Celtic Park was alive with colour and noise for much more than 90 minutes to help deliver a special victory.
Stewart Robertson told Sky Sports that there will be 800 away fans at the two remaining derbies this season but one aspect of his interview struck a very raw nerve with Celtic fans.
The Ibrox Managing Director claimed that both clubs agreed to no away fans at the first two derbies but that is an obvious fabrication with tickets withdrawn from Celtic fans just before distribution for the August match at Ibrox.
‘Celtic fans to be locked out of Rangers clash due to Ibrox ticket u-turn’ was how the Herald reported it.
Many Celtic fans are suspicious of the fondness that their directors have for their Ibrox counterparts, highlighted on every matchday with the use and promotion of transport from Chairman Douglas Park.
How many away fans should attend the Glasgow derby?
800- the fixture needs some spice
None- it is safer and less costly
With the team flying high and the February 6 atmosphere fresh in the memory the Celtic board could do themselves a favour by clarifying the situation over Glasgow Derby tickets rather than allowing the other side to re-write history.
Celtic should tell Stewart Robertson to stick any allocation for Ibrox in the Loving cup. Who does he think he is deciding this or has the penny dropped that his team were totally intimidated and reduced to school boy performances in front of a partisan Celtic support

He probably thinks it will work the same way when we go to ibrox, intimidation wise. This game will end up banning away fans. I’d never let them back to Celtic Park, if it was up to me.

@CelticFC Tell them to shove their tickets and never let them back in to Celtic Park again It was only Last Month he said his fans didn’t want it !!-https://t.co/1sYGdtebPS

I’ve been going to Derby games for most of my life. Might have enjoyed the result, eventually, never liked the ‘atmosphere’. The experience was far more enjoyable without their hatred and bile.

That’s what I said too, for ~700 fans it’s hardly worth the effort.

What’s changed, since last month, to make them come hunder pressure to change their minds?? pic.twitter.com/MmB13TDtkt

Exactly! Let them stew in what they started after throwing the toys out the pram!

Tbh the atmosphere at the last Glasgow derby was the best in some time and I’m guessing the repair bill was a bit lower.

Tell them to shove it. I don’t want them at Celtic park, the more of us the better https://t.co/2lAX00hojo

Who does Robertson think he is if he says it’s alright then everyone has to go along with this, he has nothing to do with our club, tell him to put tickets in loving cup because that’s all that will be in it.
It’s not worth the bother regarding away fans less trouble and let them keep their vile chants to their piggery why give them our money.
I think Celtic should decline a handout of 800 tickets. Keeping that horde of neanderthals off the streets twice a season saves lives and saves money. The community at large feels safe enough to go out when no huns are abroad. So no tickets =no huns =public safety.
Celtic should get an award for services to Glasgow City Council for saving them millions each year by keeping the forces of mordor in their caves where they belong.
Public property damaged, hospital A&E overloaded with assault victims, old folk intimidated in their own homes, young bhoys murdered all this ceases twice a year when evil is stopped from taking to and destroying the streets of Glasgow.
It’s yet another PR disaster from Celtic and whoever is in char he of that department needs to be seeking new employment. Celtic offered to take it up to 3000 fans, but not many outside the club knows that, so the Raijurs are seemed to be taking the moral high ground. Although the atmosphere was something special on the 2nd (not the 6th as stated above), I wouldn’t want to see the lockout continue. However, I would make it known throughout that you will agree to away fans to be allowed back so long as it was to the original amounts and being of at least no less than 10% of the stadia capacity. 800 makes almost no difference, so go for 5000 minimal, and we offer 6000.
HAIL HAIL
KEEP THE FAITH??
I wouldn’t let sevco back in to our ground they threw their toys out the pram because they were sick of us celebrating after we humiliated them on the park. Keep the humiliation going they started this not us.
Don’t let them back, we don’t need them. Atmosphere was brilliant at the last game.
Tell them to stick it, most Celtic fans don’t want them in our house, and we don’t want to go to their derelict shi#e hole HH
That mob have some questionable people working alongside them in the boardroom and it is very clear they don’t like us or want us in their stadium so until they give us back the broomloan stand were we celebrate in style then our club must never accept any tickets for league games
Why should we be dictated as to when it suits and what allocation by them. They spat the dummy and made their bed, let them lie (they’re good at that) in it. High time our board stopped pandering to this tribute act.
Celtic board will do exactly what sevco board tell them.
I don’t know, I think it’s nice of him to offer to have at least some of us there to celebrate with the players after they inevitably gub the sevvies. Not much fun celebrating in an empty stadium is it?
/sarcasm
I don’t know what his game is but his own klub’s actions have caused this and all it has done is shown us how much better those games are without their bile. Perhaps the offer of 800 of us there is so they can use the old “We wuz provoaked by thae feeyinz” once the bigot choir starts up at 0.000000000001 seconds after kick-off.
Some form of distraction because Robertson knows that the horde struggles to contain it’s bile even when they sit 20+ points ahead at the top of the league…when they are behind in the league to the team that’s currently putting them to the sword on the pitch that bile will pour forth in a tsunami of hatred, from all four corners of that cowp, for all the world to hear.
Perhaps then the pathetic “Anyone/Everyone” bollocks can be put to rest, eh?
Hail-Hail seppington
Never let the hatred back into paradise until they give us the whole of the Copland stand tell them to stick the 900 tickets were the sun don’t shine paradise is a better place without them HH
