Celtic fans have been quick to set the Record straight as Part 4 of the Paul Murray Diaries hit the news-stands.
A complete rewrite of facts and events has provided comfort with Keith Jackson turning on the Mills & Boon prose to portray the Borders Banker as the gallant blue nose who singled handedly prevented the death of his beloved club.
In June 2012 the Record proclaimed RFC RIP on the front page for their army of readers.
Paul Murray failed to avoid administration, failed to prevent liquidation but that inconvenience is airbrushed out of his diary as he recalls the personal sacrifices he made to try and get a blazer as other people poured their money into the Tribute Act.
It seems that the allure of a few days hero worship from Keith was too much for Paul to resist, although his wife is understood to have walked away from our modern day hero.
He could have let his failures of 2012 rest in the past but sharing his Diaries has allowed the truth to re-emerge as 276 trade creditors and thousands of fans are left with worthless debentures.
Nobly the Daily Record hasn’t paid Murray for his extracts, instead money has been paid to the Rangers Charity Foundation to help them film Mark Hately donating hand-sanitiser to Care Homes.

Why not rescue Rangers as she did paying the victim of her pedophile son? The Queen’s HMRC did not want a CVA why the Rangers company and club died. pic.twitter.com/R58QgMNH8C

My concern is that the money that has been paid goes to the old Rangers, that doesn’t help the new Rangers
I’ve tidied this up for you Keef @tedermeatballs ‘When Paul Murray, Dave King and John Gilligan stormed into the Ibrox boardroom in March 2015, it was 3 feckin’ years too late, the corpse was gone-all they found was a tribute to a dead club’ pic.twitter.com/koHTyoguWN

Was Paul Murray not part of the board that was responsible for the death of the original Rangers? Along with Dave King?

by far the the most embarrassing thing is this disgrace of a newspaper printing this after telling us 140 years of history had ended, the sheer hypocrisy is off the radar if you will pardon the pun. we will never ever let them forget.
Grant unto dead Rangers eternal un-rest and let perpetual $hite fall upon Sevco and may they never be at peace, but suffer the sins of their lying, thieving, cheating bigoted, racist forefathers.
And may they all rot in Hell.
Amen.
The article has Murray writing his own version of history by stating that the liquidator sold the club to Green. Not so! Green only bought the stadium and training ground, not the club itself which was liquidated.
Green then started a new club without players or SFA or league membership which had to be applied for and subsequently granted to Sevco FC now called the Rangers International FC.
He will next be telling us that the sectarian signing policy never existed, it was only a myth perpetrated by Celtic supporters.
