Celtic fans lapped up every moment of last night’s win over Aberdeen, staying behind at Pittodrie till late into the night.Â
It had been a nerve shredding performance but as the fans finally left the stadium for the long journey south the SPFL Premiership table had a comforting, reassuring look about it.Â
After 25 matches, including double-dunts at Hearts, Motherwell and Aberdeen, Celtic find themselves a point clear with 13 matches left to play, the majority at home.Â

Goals in the first 20 minutes from Jota and Matt O’Riley looked like putting Celtic in easy street but in the 61st minute Lewis Ferguson headed Aberdeen’s equaliser.Â
The post mortem was barely underway when Jota restored Celtic’s lead against howls of protest from the Aberdeen players, management and fans.Â
The last 30 minutes wasn’t pretty, Celtic fans willed the clock down until finally after 94 minutes it was over- with the hoops still sitting proudly on top of the Premiership table.Â
