Propaganda war- Club 1872 warned over reprisals

The Tribute Act have issued a trademark statement in response to the stinging criticism from Club 1872.

Back in the summer of 2017 the fan group were the heroes of the day as they stumped up close to £800,000 to buy out half of Mike Ashley’s shareholding in the company running the Tribute Act founded by Charles Green in 2012.

From over 10% of the company Club 1872 now own less than 5% of the shares with Stewart Robertson, James Bisgrove and David Graham under fire in today’s carefully crafted statement.

Replying to that this afternoon, the Tribute Act stated:

The Men’s First Team and Women’s Team are competing for major honours, both domestically and in Europe.

It is deeply regrettable that the same small rump of “supporters” remains intent on causing damage to our club. It is particularly concerning to note the timing they have chosen to launch their latest attack.

It is lost on nobody that those intent on creating maximum disruption are those who have either enjoyed, or craved, a role within our club.

The collective desire of our Board, Management and players, is to have unity of purpose over the coming months. Rest assured, we will address the disruptors and their propaganda war at the end of this season. For now, nothing matters but results on the field. Together, we are stronger.

It seems like the simmering bad blood at Ibrox is about to erupt while Dave King tries to offload his shareholding.
