Ibrox fans enjoyed a day to forget as they celebrated the 10th Anniversary of their Tribute Act in style.

A special match programme attractively priced at £10 per copy set the tone as they tried once again to rewrite history and airbrush over the events of 2012.

In a stadium car park a temporary stage was erected, sticking to songs about football a band knocked out some sounds to complete silence by the bemused onlookers more used to spewing out more ‘traditional’ anthems of hate.

Reflecting the events of 2012 a face painter was hired for reasons that no-one quite understood while a few sets of mini-goals were set up for plus-sized fans to show off their silky ball skills.

Inside the stadium a variety of tifos were released leaving more questions than answers for the fans in the stadium and those watching at home on streams.

Later this month a legends match will take place featuring Kris Boyd, Paul Gascoigne, Barry Ferguson, Kevin Kyle, Martyn Waghorn and Joey Barton, some tickets are still available.

Founding Father Ally McCoist played no part in yesterday’s celebrations.
