Leading Celtic employee washes his hands of Australian friendlies- over to Board to explain

John Paul Taylor has stepped away from Celtic’s November friendly fixtures in Sydney. 

At lunchtime yesterday the club put Ange Postecoglou up to reveal that he’d be returning to Australia as manager but there was no details about the four team tournament. 

Overnight Western Sydney Wanderers revealed details of the Sydney Super Cup which includes two teams from the host city and two from Scotland. 

It is fair to say that Celtic fans haven’t been impressed by the information and how it has been leaked out. 

Apologies for lack of responses on matches scheduled to be played in Australia later in the year, it’s one I need to let @CelticFC lead on as I don’t have any specific details. I believe further information will come directly from the Club abut this

Taylor is one of the most popular members of the Celtic staff, a lifelong fan who doesn’t need to impress anyone with his credentials. He is very much in touch with the fans with or without official schemes such as a Fan Forum.

Fans are now looking to Ian Bankier and Michael Nicholson for details, neither are known for their communication skills or having a rapport with ordinary customers of the brand.
