Aaron Ramsey was left out of the Wales squad that drew 1-1 with the Czech Republic.
The midfielder played the full 90 minutes plus five minutes of stoppage time on Thursday as Wales took a step towards the World Cup Finals with a 2-1 win over Austria.
Ramsey’s season has been blighted by injury with Juventus happy to send him to Ibrox in January where he has yet to complete a full 90 minutes.
The 31-year-old has started two Scottish Cup ties and one SPFL match but will now have his fitness assessed ahead of a busy club period that features two matches against Celtic, two against Braga and a trip to St Mirren over 15 demanding days.
Before the Czech match Wales boss Rob Page spoke to Sky Sports:
Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey will NOT start for Wales tomorrow and interim head coach Rob Page is YET to decide if they will be in the squad ??????? pic.twitter.com/QcgeOoAnT5

They both struggled towards the end of the game. You could see both of them were holding their groins and hamstrings. They both had a tough 95 minutes.
We’ll have another night tonight and we’ll make that decision in the morning whether we involve them in the 23. They’re not going to start, so it’s whether they’re in the 23.
There is no option to buy on Ramsey’s Ibrox loan deal, the midfielder is under contract with Juventus until May 2023.
The Sun are reporting (sic) that Ramesis the Great is not injured, was rested for the Welsh’s dead rubber last game and is fit for the Derby match.
Make of that what you will.
