Giorgos Giakoumakis looks to be as comfortable with life in Glasgow as he is with his role in the Celtic side.

The striker had a lean time of it in the first part of the season but goals against Alloa and Hearts after the winter break proved that there is life and goals beyond Kyogo Furuhashi.

Last season living with lockdown was one of many problems that impacted on Albian Ajeti, Vasilis Barkas and Shane Duffy but it seems that Giakoumakis can make the most of the midweek winter sunshine.

His recent hat-trick at home to Dundee got Celtic out of a hole, with eight matches still to be played in the SPFL Premiership more of the same will go a long way to delivering the prize that everyone at the club craves.

A year ago Giakoumakis was experiencing the highs and lows that the game has to offer- while VVV Venlo were slipping towards relegation their striker finished as top scorer in Eredivisie.

Off topic I see the man from Ireland is trying to feed FAKE news to the Celtic supporters again.
Once again he appears to be getting the information from his man inside ibrox,so he says.
The guy is still dining out on his one and only exclusive about sevco going bankrupt,a bit like Tony Watt still dining out on that goal from yesteryear.
