Tom Rogic has been included in the Australia squad for the vital World Cup qualifiers against Japan and Saudi Arabia.
The Socceroos as in third place in their group, three points behind Japan and four adrift of the Saudi’s with the top two nations going through to the finals with the third placed countries in both of the Asian groups facing each other in a Play Off.
Rogic will be up against Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda a week today on home soil before flying to Saudi Arabia for the final group match on March 29. When Australia are playing Japan, Saudi Arabia are away to China knowing that a win guarantees their qualification.
During the last international break Rogic missed three SPFL matches but this month’s scheduling will see him back at Lennoxtown in plenty of time for the April 3 derby at Ibrox.
