Celtic fans lapped up every minute of their marathon visit to Ibrox.Â
In their seats at 10am they welcomed Ange Postecoglou’s squad into a near empty stadium then provided a musical backdrop as Kris Boyd and the team at Sky Sports previewed the match.Â
First half goals from Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers silenced Ibrox except for the 700 away fans squeezed into the corner of the ground furthest from the goal action.Â

The second half involved some resolute but not desperate defending as Celtic hung onto their lead, substitute Liel Abada had two very decent opportunities to increase the winning margin but sent one shot past the post with Allan McGregor saving his second effort.Â
At the final whistle the away support celebrated as if their side had just won a trophy. The home supporters quickly drifted away although celebrity fan Abdul hung around, apparently taunting the Celtic fans with a flag.Â
