Bobby Madden has been basking in the infamy of his performance at Hampden yesterday.

Chris Sutton and Michael Stewart led the way on Premier Sports as they discussed a series of decisions that could diplomatically be described as baffling.

They certainly wouldn’t be described as baffling to many folk in East Kilbride who have watched in amazement as Madden made his way through the ranks, taking charge of four of the last eight Glasgow derbies.

Yesterday there was no headline grabbing honest mistake from the match official but John Lundstram seemed to have taken on the Alfredo Morelos role of being able to commit any number of bookable offences without any sort of card being shown.

Madden won’t speak a word about his performances on the record but his use of Instagram and appearances on Open Goal show that he is keen to market his personality. Open Goal is run by Paul Lawwell, son of Peter who overseen the 2012 Five Way Agreement for the Tribute Act.

With Kris Boyd egging him on it is likely that there will be more Instgram posts from Madden highlighting the best performance of his career.
