Celtic have received an apology over the head injury sustained by a physio at Ibrox on Sunday.

The incident happened at half-time during Sunday’s derby match, shortly after Cameron Cater-Vickers put the visitors in front before going on to win the game.

News of the injury was confirmed by Ange Postecoglou in a post-match interview but there has been relative silence since then with both clubs appearing keen to play things down.

Should Celtic request a full public review of security at Ibrox from Sunday?

The second half of the match was delayed five minutes to allow glass to be cleared from the Celtic goalmouth after it was spotted by Joe Hart.

Jota had a missile thrown at him when he was taking a corner with some players forced to take cover from another missile as they acknowledged the Celtic fans after the final whistle.

The two clubs meet at Hampden on April 17 in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with the final SPFL match still to be scheduled.

Our own club are every bit to blame on this, they should have come out within 24 hours of the game and made a statement about it but bottled it (no joke intended)now 5 days later communication is put out there from our club, but only after being pushed into.

What a shambles and a disgrace the people in charge of our club should be ashamed of themselves.

But KERCHING! that’s all that matters over there ££££s signs.

Our board are an Old Firm board not a Celtic board. t/hey are embroiled in the ‘keep rangers alive even though they are dead’ campaign. I would not be surprised if we have given them money in the past 10 years.
