Karamoko Dembele provided a little reminder of what he is capable of during yesterday’s Glasgow Cup tie at Murray Park.
The 19-year-old has long been tipped for greatness but almost three years on from his debut, off the bench against Hearts, he has still to start a competitive match.
An added complication is that his contract expires in the summer, common sense at this stage suggests that Karamoko and his agent are looking at other options.

Yesterday’s match meant very little but in the 65th minute there was a burst from Karamoko that was a flashback to the video clips that surfaced during his schooldays. Ben Summers did the run justice by scoring from close range.
Transferring that promise into the senior game hasn’t yet materialised for a number of reasons, including a brutal injury in pre-season.
On Sunday at Hampden Karamoko failed to make the nine man substitute bench, with a league title to be won he must be under consideration from Ange Postecoglou for Sunday’s match away to Ross County.
